More about Eddie

*** Courtesy Posting ***

EddieHELP EDDIE PLEASE!! Eddie was born on the streets of a drug and gang infested town. He was rescued by a humane investigator after months of trying to catch him. Eddie has lived in an outdoor kennel for one a a half years. The first six-eight months Eddie was terrified and hard to handle. Over time he began trusting his caretakers. He slowly progressed to being able to go for walks, which he adored.

Tragically Eddie tested positive for heartworm but with excellent medical care has received the treatment he needed and is now healthy. He is playful, very sociable and absolutely adores other dogs of all sizes.

Eddie is ready to get out of the outdoor kennel. He gets minimal one-on-one attention, only occasional walks and spends most of his time in the small enclosure. That is no way to live. Frankly over time that can drive an animal crazy! Luckily it hasn't driven crazy, not yet anyway. He needs to live with a loving family....and now. Please help him!

Eddie has never lived in a home and will need a patient family willing to give him the support and training he needs. He is a very sweet boy and deserves a chance at life with a family to call his own.
