Chico is a five-year-old purebred chihuahua that was given up by his elderly owner who couldn't take care of him anymore. Chico is shy at first but warms up. He'd do best in a quieter home.

UPDATE 5-7-09: Chico has settled in nicely at his new foster home. When he came to us he was very overweight. His previous owner had indulged him in too many table scraps. Thanks to his foster mom Shirley he is now lean, trim and feeling healthier. Chico is a quiet guy with a sensitive disposition. He would be great in a home where he would be cuddled and loved.
We have a pending adoption for Chico.
