    More about Gabby

Gabby is a three and a half month old blue heeler. Gabby was caught by the police after a week of running in the streets in a bad neighborhood. She is safe now and settling into her foster home. Gabby seems to warm up to men quicker than women but with just a little reassurance she is bonding with all the members of her foster family. She is also living with three other dogs. She is beginning to seek out play sessions with her canine foster sister and learning that her foster brother has claimed the dog bed in front of the fireplace.

    UPDATE 1/30/10
Gabby is an adorable puppy. She is full of energy and wants to play all the time. She will grow to be at least 40-50 pounds. She will need an active family! She is somewhat assertive in her play, not realizing her size and strength. We suggest a "seasoned" dog owner for her and no children under 10. She does play with other dogs, but likes to play a more dominant role.
