Adoption Reunion Fundraiser
In Honor of Mother’s Day Show Support of Foster Moms…and AEAR!
Sunday May 1 from noon until 3 p.m. AEAR adopted dogs and their human families are invited to Bark N Park in Libertyville for food, fun and frolic and a reunion that will create memories of a lifetime!
“Being a foster parent is one of the most selfless volunteer job a person can do. They take an animal that has nowhere to go and love it and care for it and then give it to someone else to adopt,” said AEAR founder Sandy Kamen Wisniewski.
“We rely completely on foster families to save animals. Because we don’t have a physical shelter we are indebted to them for their selfless work. Many of the animals we get come to us with issues because of their previous life. The foster families work tirelessly to fix the problems so that the animal can get adopted.”
It would mean so much to the foster families and AEAR volunteers for the former foster dogs to come and celebrate the reunion. We are asking for a donation of $10.00 for an individual or $20.00 for a family. Each individual will get a raffle ticket to win a gift basket (a family will get a maximum of four tickets).
