Wanted: New and Gently Used Stuffed Animals

 

Pet therapy at Manor Care nursing home means the world to the animal lovers that live at the nursing home.  They love to visit with our dogs, cats, rabbits and more.  But one of the other things they love is when we bring them stuffed animals and they get to keep a little animal to remind them of our visit.  Our stuffed animals are a hit. 

Educational programs at schools are a big part of what AEAR does on a regular basis.  To help keep the kids attention and to encourage kids to ask questions each child that asks a question is rewarded with a stuffed animal.  It’s been proven a fantastic way to keep the kids interested as well as retaining information they learn.

If you have any stuffed animals that are new or gently used and would be willing to donate some we’d really appreciate it.  You can drop off the stuffed animals at any of our upcoming events or meetings.  Thank you!
