Perry Still Waiting For Forever Home
Perry is a sweet and gentle five-year-old Chihuahua and Pomeranian mix. He has been with us a very long time for no reason of his own. He is a low-key guy, easy to care for and doesn’t make a fuss. Maybe that’s why he is not really noticed much at adoption events.
According to his foster mom Shirley Perry is, “quiet, housebroken and a little snuggler. One of the easiest fosters I have had.”
Perry’s first four and a half years were with a single woman who fed him hot dogs instead of dog food claiming, “he wouldn’t eat dog food.” He was given up because the woman moved in with her sister and her sister said she didn’t want the dog at her house.
He came to us under weight and very timid. It didn’t take much to convert him to healthy dog food when he realized he didn’t have a choice and he is now very healthy and a good weight. He has really come out of his shell and has a lot of confidence now.
Perry would make a wonderful companion for a family that wanted a mellow and easy dog. To apply for Perry please go to our web site.
