Hi Annette --
Here is some update on my girl:
Galadrial now walks on leash loose most of time, gets in and out of her parka with no complaint. She sleeps on my bed next to me; and always keeps me in view when I am at home. Galadrial is on my lap if I am sitting {but gives me a little time on the computer daily}. She loves going on walks and in the car. She is the favorite darling of the ladies and gentlemen on my mom's floor at the Nursing home; and wants to visit everyone of them. She's still learning not to jump on people -- but she has never jumped on any of the seniors at Winchester House. She wants to be friends with everybody, my hairdresser and her husband, my neighbors, and every dog in the neighborhood. My cat and Galadrial continue to discuss whether an armed truce can be achieved!

Perhaps the best sign I have seen in Galadrial of her overall recovery is that she is beginning to get an attitude with me -- she doesn't just agree because I tell her it is so. On Thursday, Galadrial is getting her first grooming and I'm planning to have her picture taken with Santa! Galadrial is the best dog I have ever had and a wonderful companion.
