More about Borris

Hi! My name is Borris, and I'm being fostered in Minnesota. My foster mom & dad will help in transporting me to the Chicago area if that's where I'm meant to be. They've explained to me that I'm staying with them and their 6 chihuahuas just until my REAL mom & dad find me, and then I'll get adopted and be in my forever home.

I'm profoundly deaf, but that doesn't stop my foster mom & dad from training me....they are using hand signals to tell me what I need to do, and I'm learning other things like how to walk on a leash, how not to potty in the house, and that I should not chase the kitties who live here, too.

I am a real snuggle-bug and I like it when foster mom rocks me....I AM still a bit of a puppy my foster mom thinks I'm around 2 and a half years old. I had 2 operations a couple of days ago.....an umbilical hernia repair and something called a "neuter". Oh, and they drew blood to test for things like heartworms. I'm HW negative and on preventative and my blood panel was all normal. And I had a couple of shots, too. Whew! That was one very long day at the vet's office!

Here's some pictures of me so you can see how cute I am. I have some black spots on my ears and nose, and one small brown spot on my back. In one picture I'm sitting with my new friends, Pudge and Rico, in my foster home. We were watching TV together. In the other picture my foster mom is rocking me. I love to cuddle!
