    UPDATE: 02/05/12

Thanks to the care of her foster family, Honey is doing great! See her new pictures...she's absolutely beautiful.

CAN I BE A PUPPY NOW?

Honey -- a name befitting for a sweet little puppy who has had a rough first year in life.  She is a lab mix, a little over a year old, who has already been a mama.
Honey has finished nursing her puppies and is severely underweight.  She loves everyone she meets.  She gives kisses freely and her tail wags non-stop.  Honey needs a loving home where she can enjoy being a puppy herself.

Honey's foster mom says she is doing great.  She gets along with the house dog and cat and loves to play outside.  Honey is housebroken with no accidents.  Her foster mom says that when Honey goes outside, she is somewhat hesitant because she is afraid she won't be allowed back in.  Food is secondary -- what Honey is starved for is love.  Luckily, Honey is filling out and looking better now that she has food and water on a consistent basis.   With tenderness and care, there is absolutely no doubt that Honey will gain weight and become a beautiful dog.  She will bring joy and happiness to a family willing to open their hearts and give her a permanent home.
Want to meet Honey? The first step is to fill out an Adoption Application. Learn more about our Adoption Process. The adoption donation for Honey is $300. For details about our adoption donation, read The Cost of Adoption.
