Perry is a five year old long haired Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix, weighing approximately 10 pounds. Perry is a true little gentleman, a little reserved when you first meet him but he grows attached once he gets to know you. His favorite pass time is to curl up on your lap and wait patiently for you to pet and stroke him. 2 or 3 little barks announces that someone is at the door and he is satisfied that he has done his job. He thinks barking for no reason is a waste of energy. Cats and other dogs can be playmates, but he will back away if they become too aggressive. He is not into rough housing and chaos. He prefers a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. Perry is not very interested in toys but will be ready to accompany you on a nice walk any time. He is very considerate, he only sheds seasonally and is housebroken. He would be an excellent companion for an adult or a family with older children.
 
Perry's foster Mom says, " Perry is a nice, quiet, lovable, affectionate, sweet dog. Just the sweetest, sweetheart!"
