Adoptable Pet

Salem likes to cuddle and is playful especially with his best friend and brother Skid. Salem is protective of his spot. He will hiss at something he is uncomfortable with and is more likely to hide and come out slowly...

'Tis The Season For Gifts

Very Sick Dog

Today I received a call from a man about Sesi, his small, young shih tzu. He said that his two dogs got in a fight and his dog hasn't been right since. Sesi can't walk and isn't eating or drinking.

He took her to the vet on Saturday and he couldn't afford everything the veterinarian was suggesting, such as medications and tests. So unfortunately what the vet did do didn't solve the problem and the dog isn't getting any better. The doctor doesn't know what's wrong with the dog.

So he was reaching out to us asking us if we would take the dog in. I am on hold with the vet as I write this trying to get more information from the doctor. I can only think maybe in the dog fight the dog hurt her back? There are no physical visual injuries and she did have an exam, pain medication and antibiotics. It is possible that her symptoms have nothing to do with the fight and instead just happened at the same time.

It's always nerve wracking agreeing to take an animal having no idea what is wrong with her (still on hold...errrrr....) and having no clue what the expenses will be. But this dog is clearly suffering. She isn't getting up, she isn't eating or drinking. She needs to see a vet asap.

And so that brings me to reach out to you again to ask for some people to sponsor her so I can comfortably take her and get her whatever she needs to help her. A chip in will go up shortly but this is a emergency. So if you can help her please donate now on our web site at www.aear.org.Any amount would help. You know I will do whatever I can to help her. (Still on hold...errrr...)

I'll keep you all posted. If you can't afford to help her I totally understand but please do pray for her. If we receive at least $500.00 in funding I will take her in.

Thank you everyone.
