More about Cookie

Cookie is a senior chihuahua mix who is really an amazingly resilient little dog. Her owners gave her up to animal control at 14-years-old and didn’t look back. But this confident girl hasn’t skipped a beat since she left animal control. She has moved into her foster home and acclimated with the other dogs and cats seamlessly. Cookie is way too fat and needs some serious weight reduction! We are working on that. Considering her size and age it’s amazing how spry she is! She can get up and down the 13 stairs in her foster home. She sleeps in bed cuddled up with her foster mom. She’s a wonderful little dog. She would make a great companion for someone who wants an easy, affectionate dog. She appears to be housebroken too…bonus! Consider adopting a senior, you won’t go back. We suggest you follow Cookie’s adventures, as well as all our other animals, on our very active Facebook page.
