ANIMAL EDUCATION AND RESCUE (AEAR) is an incorporated group of individuals volunteering their time, money, love and efforts to rescue pets, whether or not purebred, who have been abandoned, surrendered to animal shelters/humane societies, or surrendered to AEAR by their owners. AEAR is always seeking volunteers who love pets. AEAR welcomes and encourages your interest in volunteering.

Volunteer Waiver

Liability Waiver for Volunteer/Participant As a volunteer/participant of Animal Education and Rescue, from here known as AEAR, (or as an adult parent of a volunteer/participant of AEAR under 18 years of age who is representing that minors interests), I recognize and acknowledge that there are physical and other risks associated with acting as a volunteer/participant of AEAR, which could include exposure to, contact with or injury from live animals such as cats and dogs. Some specific risks can include bites, scratches, torn skin, bruises, and damaged clothing or other property. I voluntarily agree to assume any and all risks that I sustain or may sustain as a result of volunteering/participating in any activities connected or associated with AEAR, and hereby voluntarily waive any and all claims, damages or causes of action that I may have at any time against AEAR or its officers, directors, agents, servants, employees, and invitees in connection with my volunteering and participating with AEAR.

I hereby voluntarily indemnify, hold harmless, defend, discharge, and release AEAR and their officers, directors, agents, servants, employees, and invitees (collectively “Indemnified Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, losses, damages, or liability of any kind for any injury, harm, damages, or loss, including death, that any of the Indemnified Parties sustains or may sustain arising directly or indirectly our of my actions, inactions or negligence as a volunteer/participant with AEAE, including actions related to my use or operation of equipment or facilities provided by or associated with AEAR.

I hereby make application to participate as a volunteer of AEAR and agree to be governed by the rules and regulations as set forth by Animal Education and Rescue.
